Knit designs can either be perfect or go the other way.

Hello friends, Hope your Monday is better than mine.

Usually how you  spend your Sunday nights play a vital part  in how your Monday  will be, especially when you have  to make some decisions that really leave you drained. Am here  to cheer you up though knowing you are going to add another great piece in  your  closet should be able to put a smile on your face.

Fashion is my sanity during such a day.

And these  designs are just so elegant and unique, the creativity is enough to have your mind completely engrossed in them. Not your typical scarfs.

Vilba Kassel, is  a brand founded by one talented Kenyan lady  known as Knight Kerubo. What started as a passion for interior design, jewelry making and clothing design, finally led her  to focus on jewelry making and clothing design specifically knit wear and knit wear inspired couture gown’s.

“I have always loved scarfs for a very long time even when I was in school but the problem was getting them in my own taste and in the colours that I loved…. ” Knight  tells me.

I must  say she does have taste. When I saw these Knit  designs I was mesmerized, I even told her I wanted to own them all! Like I cant make up my mind which one she should  start with  coz I have to own  these, look out for my next shoot.

Knight says she loves elegant, classy and adorable but simple things and with that she decided to make designs that suit her taste and style but also something she knew others would equally love.

I love asking the designers I interact with what inspires their designs if you have not noticed. Because I believe that inspiration is what gives most people the courage to start, and the will to continue.

So where did Knight actually get the inspiration to  start as opposed to just entertaining her thoughts and desires which most of us are  notorious for?

It wasn’t until she went to Bangkok and  watched a lady knit several tops she was buying from her, that she realized this is what she wanted to do.

“There and then I was more captivated and more sure that I wanted to have my own knitwear line.”

She plans on opening her own store, have a full production line for her designs and open a school where people can learn the art of knitting and crocheting in the future.

“For me its a journey that I’m looking forward to..see my brand grow..”

The designs come in different colors,  styles, some with  bow tie details, flowers, buttons and others  with jewellery added to them.

I swear I tried cutting them down to my choice of colours and designs  but I still ended up  with over 20 of them so you can be glad that you will get yours in your choice of colour. There is a variety to choose from.

You can check the brand out  on her facebook page vilba Kassel designs, email  her  at vilbakassel@gmal.com or you can contact me if you want any of these on eleksie@gmail.com and I will make  sure  you get one.

Something that caught my eye too is the photography. Perfection! designs can only stand out if the images  are well presented.
