So am pouring soda at almost 12 midnight as I dance to a tune in my head. I have no idea why am still up, and my subconscious urges me to get to bed. Of course I ignore her and proceed to my Pc.
Then I start thinking how long it’s been since I just danced without a care in the world.
Life has way of making us think we are on an ending race. That each and every moment and second, our brains should be working, our bodies juggling in all places but the relaxation place.
We all have 24 hours in a day. Each and every one of us. That is one thing technology hasn’t been able to change.
But how we spend this time is all that matters. Whether you believe in God, or Allah as the creator, we all agree we just have 24 hours. And do you know he knew this time is enough to work, eat, unwind and sleep.
Where am I going with this? Life is a journey. A journey in which we can only be hopeful about tomorrow but it is not guaranteed. Life doesn’t owe you. So better live your best life today.
Dress well, eat well and spend time with family and loved ones. Make investments, visit places. Laugh often, dance when you can, read more. Be you and do you.
Don’t live your life as if the world rests on your shoulder. Do things that make you happy and above all lift others as well. Hospitality goes along away.
I cannot over emphasize how good it feels going to bed knowing you put a smile on someone’s face, or someone is going to have a meal thanks to a kind gesture from you or just offering a listening ear.
Let’s be more humane, material stuff is good. I mean I love me some nice outfits and designs, I really love shoes and bag and what have you. I want to have a building somewhere, run this and that business, and do this or the other. We need that. The world shouldn’t be short of ambitions.
However, Let us stop stacking compassion in cheques and bank accounts. Let compassion remain in our hearts.
But more importantly. Let us enjoy life. We only have one life to live.
“You’ll learn, as you get older, that rules are made to be broken. Be bold enough to live life on your terms, and never, ever apologize for it. Go against the grain, refuse to conform, take the road less traveled instead of the well-beaten path. Laugh in the face of adversity, and leap before you look. Dance as though EVERYBODY is watching. March to the beat of your own drummer. And stubbornly refuse to fit in.”
