Motherland greeting cards, launched by London based Artist Yolande Letshou are all African inspired.

The unique cards incorporate a range of African print fabrics and are suitable for a wide range of occasions. They include different Afrocentric, pregnancy cards and personalized cards intended to make you feel not only special but fabulous.

African print fabrics are just not about cloth designs. We have seen pillows, couches, decors, shoes and now we are on to cards. All card insides are left blank for your special own message.

In 2007, Yolande launched a series of fashion themed greeting cards as part of her ‘Love Genevieve’ collection, which was named after her mother ‘Genevieve’. These cards were quickly snapped up by mini design chain ‘Lifestyle Bazaar’.

After a successful launch at their Shoreditch branch, most of her card designs had sold out
within just two weeks. Yolande has exhibited her works at the Foundry in London and also during London Fashion Week. (checkoutafrica)

Expect to find pearls, bows and beautiful fabrics incorporated on some of the cards adding that extra special touch!!
